Emotional intelligence — the ability to recognize, understand, and manage both your own emotions and those of the people around you — is now widely recognized as one of the strongest predictors of professional success, relationship quality, and overall life satisfaction. In study after study, EQ outperforms IQ as a predictor of leadership effectiveness, team performance, and resilience under pressure.
This assessment is based on the five-dimension framework developed by psychologist Daniel Goleman, whose 1995 book Emotional Intelligence brought the concept to mainstream attention and whose subsequent research established its empirical foundations. Each of the fifty questions targets a specific, measurable behavioral tendency within one of the five domains.
