The Four Dimensions Explained
Extraversion (E) vs. Introversion (I) — This isn't about shyness. It's about where you direct your energy. Extraverts think out loud and recharge through people. Introverts process internally and recharge through solitude.
Sensing (S) vs. Intuition (N) — How you take in information. Sensing types trust concrete facts, details, and direct experience. Intuitive types look for patterns, meaning, and future possibilities.
Thinking (T) vs. Feeling (F) — How you make decisions. Thinkers prioritize logic, consistency, and objective analysis. Feelers prioritize values, impact on people, and emotional harmony.
Judging (J) vs. Perceiving (P) — How you approach structure. Judging types prefer plans, closure, and order. Perceiving types prefer flexibility, spontaneity, and keeping options open.
